Snowstorm 12-12-09

On December 12, 2009 Wisconsin received its first snow storm of the year. It brought a day of heavy snow which took hours of cleaning up road ways and drive ways. The Madison area received about 14 inches of snowfall and Milwaukee received around 8 inches. The snow weighed too much for evergreen branches and they became droopy. Hard wood tree branches had inches of snow laying on them and some of the branches just snapped due to the heavy weight. The pictures below are of the scenery in my backyard after the snowstorm.
