Haze

Haze is an atmospheric phenomenon where dust, smoke, and other dry particles obscure the clarity of the sky. The source of the haze particles include farming (ploughing in dry weather), traffic, industry, and wildfires. Seen from afar and depending upon the direction of view relative to the sun, haze may appear a brownish or bluish color. The following photos contain that brownish color from the haze over Milwaukee, WI while the weather was hot and humid.
